Pondering

You and together talk
Of reality.
I wonder if reality talks
Of together you and me?

On the Shores of Life

If sand were glass
Hard
Would be the path
Upon our feet.

But, better to walk it
Than to turn the other way.

While Away

And you muse and wonder
Thinking how things must be
As viewed by another,
Whose eyes you no longer see.

Carnality Eradicated

If my carnal nature was eradicated
When the Holy Spirit came in me to abide
Then what's all this garbage
He'd constantly throwing out
Since I let Him move inside?

Cardiac Completeness

I have an enlarged heart
And my doctor doesn't even care
For it's been that way
Since Jesus came inside
To cleanse and flow through me from there.

Nearness to God

Worship in a manmade church of wonder
Is not nearly as complete,
As worship in a God-made church
Out under nature's trees
Among the flowers sweet.
