Marijo's Crock Pot Meals

Crock Pot Beans
2- 1 pound cans of pork and beans
1 pound can of kidney beans
1 pound can of butter beans or lima beans
1 pound ground beef, browned and drained
C Brown sugar
2 tsp prepared mustard
1 Tbsp liquid smoke (Wal-Mart usually has this with bar-b-que sauces or ASK all Wal-Marts are not created equal I have found)
pound bacon chopped and browned
1 C ketsup
1 large onion diced
Mix everything together in crock pot and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours. THE BEST beans ever.
Smothered Steak
1 pound chuck or round steak, cut in strips
1/3 C flour
1 tsp salt
tsp pepper
1 large onion sliced
1-2 green peppers, sliced
1 pound can tomatoes
1 4 oz can mushrooms, drained
2 TBSP molasses (optional)
3 TBSP soy sauce
1 10 oz package frozen green beans, French style (optional)
Put steak strips, flour, salt and pepper in crock pot. Add all remaining ingredients. Stir well to coat steak. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour, then turn to low for 8 hours (or cook total time on high for 5 hours) Serve with rice or mashed potatoes.

Keeping it cooking in the slow cooker will probably get it really soft too. Thanks for sharing.
