Trust on My Son Devotional (Words from the Lord Series)

I am not man, that my promises be in vain. Trust on my Son and rely /bank on my promises to you throughout my Word. I AM the deliverer. I Am the conqueror and so can you be through Jesus Christ Your Lord. He died to impart power to you, his Body, energized by his Holy Spirit.
Be baptized, be filled to overflowing, yielded to the purpose of your Lord. He came to set you free that others might know Him through your testimony.
Isaiah 55:8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD.(NIV)
2 Corinthians 1:20-21 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God. Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us (NIV)
Hebrews 2:13 And again, "I will put my trust in him." And again he says, "Here am I, and the children God has given me."(NIV)
Psalm 18:2 The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. (NIV)
Romans 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. (NIV)

Prayer: Lord Jesus, We are humbled and honored that You'd give us so many promises in Your Word. If You have sent Your Holy Spirit before us to prepare the way, how can we sit or linger or not GO to do Your most incredible will. Thank You and help us to be overcomers in Your most Holy name! AMEN

I am digging into old notebooks and took the whole day to write yesterday (well, did dishes, wash, cooked, cleaned kitty boxes and picked up).... LOVING this and thanking Him for getting laid off so I could do this - and for His being in control of the budget too... Marijo

Still going over old notebooks and wrote 10 pieces yesterday - some different than my usual and am in the middle of five more - all of this and cleaning kitty boxes too (writing one about Stormy Blue also for My Pet Tales....) MarijoI'm smiling from ear to ear. A very busy lady, indeed. I'm stopping my complaining as of now (smile)Yah,I didn't mention the 2 loads of wash, vacuuming the parts of the garage where the kitty condo is, the utility room, dishes and doing some by hand, scrubbing carpet - this is retirement? BUT I have had more time (taken it? in the past two days to write than Ihave ina LONG time and loving every minute - need to go for a walk for exercise too but it was 30 degrees last time i peeked.
