Prayer: Oh, Lord, it is early and I’m SO foggy. Help me awaken to worship You. I need You and worship You, my Jesus!
Child, my little one, I’m still setting you free in Me. All is not accomplished overnight, nor is it supposed to be. Take heart, as there are times and seasons. You are in a productive/pruning one. Yet, fear not, I AM gentle and know you/your areas of need. Stay yielded. Pain comes through ripping and tearing of resistance. Trust Me and let My love untangle you from things which sap life or kill the tender parts of you. I love you much more than you even know how to love yourself. Selah.

Well, this is my second try here to get a comment to you. I read it all again and I still feel that it really is to the point and I enjoyed it.Thanks so much Verna - you are a super encourager! HE is ABLE - might tackle one on self esteem this week..... (since we are supposed to die to SELF) it should be interesting. Had a migraine yesterday - I guess I ate something I shouldn't have and was in bed 14 hours! Marijo

Great set up for a Bible Study Marijo. Glad to see the verses were all quoted from one version of the Bible, it gets hard to read sometimes when you get NIV, RSV, KJV and others together. Thanks for another great devotional.Thanks Colin - the only reason I might use a couple of different versions is if the word I am keying on is in one and not the other - then the next scripture I want to use has it is the opposite version - ususaly I use NIV straight through OR NKJV straight through - occasionally I have to use KJV (though do not think it as understandable) because that's the only place that word is... like Jer 29:11 one version says I know the PLANS I have for you.... great - that makes my point. Another says I know the thoughts I think of you??? All these Devotionals (Words from the Lord Series - you can google) are supposed to be a book someday. they aren't all posted here either...
