Child, it isn’t always what you say but the heart from which it is said – I hear you. Stop and listen to Me. Read my Word and it will wash, renew and open up to bless you. You can’t always hope to know ahead or second guess but trust in My Name.
Proverbs 4:23
2 Timothy 2:22
Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. (NKJV)
Prayer: My dear Jesus, thank you for whispering to me and that you help me to turn in and hear your still, small voice. Thanks so very much that you do look to my heart and not what is sometimes coming out of my mouth, or not….I choose to trust in you, my Jesus. AMEN

As a disciple of Jesus, I enjoyed this article. I would prefer a more contemporary translation of the verses. Even the NKJV uses language that is outdated for people who are seeking God for the first time.Welcome to Searchwarp! Many readers have expressed translation preferences - I usually use NIV (and someone said that was not accurate) - some think I should use King James. I am usually looking for a particular word and if it is not in one translation then I go to an alternative one to get that word which correlates to the same word in what the Lord has laid on my heart. This is a large series (Words from the Lord Series) and would eventually make up individual pages in a devotional. Thanks for coming by and commenting! Hope that helps with the understanding of what version I use? Marijo
