None Forgetting You, God

Pirouette of black eyed sun flowers on their stems
Dancing my garden through
In pokey yellow bonnets lifting praise petals
Skyward towards You
Breeze blown trees fluttering coin-like leaves
Soon to reflect orange bright
Rustling their hearts, speaking wind whispered song
Dancing with all their might
Meadow grasses bending low with seed
Feeding squirrel , winged bird and twins with doe,
Velvet antlered elk yet running through
This corner of the world created by the God we know
You’ve blessed us with sights abundant
Let us feel your present hand
We can do nothing but return praise to You
Overflowing heart gratefulness from this woman and man
Mick and I are so totally blessed to be able to live in the middle of this mountain meadow some would call “remote", we simply call it home. We thank our Lord Jesus for being here each and every day!

I'm not surprised you and Mick are filled with awe, Marijo. You do live in such a beautiful part of the world! Thanks so much for coming by! Wish we could have a cuppa today and go for a walk in the mountain meadow - it is right now only 47 degrees out!
I've seen a lot of ways to thank God but this is one of the nicest. Thanks so much Abe and welcome to SW!
Hi Marijo.Lovely. Just absolutely lovely. Your imagery is beautiful. Wish I were there. :)Hugs, DianneI was inspired to write this one after reading a fantastic novel with great imagery! Thanks so much for your comments and stars!
Hello Sister! How are you?Good to see you again online...its again a very nice poem. Thanks for sharing it with us...God bless...I appreciate your encouragement and the stars! THANKS!!
Hi Marijo -It reminds me of the program, "Little House on the Prairie."What a great place to be.With GOD on board (as First Place), every place is a great place to be...!Some places in the mountains or woods feel SO heavy in the spirit - others are FULL of the Glory of God - I think this is one of the latter. As I walk I try to remember to invite His presence, to move on neighbors and draw all unto Him. there are so many needs just in our little "neighborhood" - many with cancer etc. Many needing to know Jesus. Mick and I are so blessed to be here at this time hopefully for His glory.
I love it when you use a poem now and then, and this was a very descriptive one that makes one want the view.Ahh, I wish you two could join us as the leaves are beginning to turn and it is cool and gorgeous... saw a baby coyote the other day too right by my truck!
