A Page of Thoughts from a Day in My Life (4-12-02 and I was 56 that day)
27 ½ years with YOU!! I do praise You on my birthday!! Thank You for loving friends and most of all, my sweetheart, Mick. Praise Your name, Jesus, on my birthday.
Life, “100 years from now”
Purity, truth, love
It’s all about You, Jesus
All I really want to be
Is YOURS.
Oh, Lord, I wiggle too much.
I wiggle and fidget in my spirit.
My mind runs too many ways
Before You
Still me, steel me, calm me
Steal me – my Lord Jesus!
Thank you for the peony ruffled tulips
Which finally came up
Gorgeous red –
Like the blood You shed
For me.
Thank You for Dad’s good day yesterday!
For “Harvey the RV”
Use him and us for Your glory.
Praise You
For being my stability-
My ROCK –
My predictable, reliable Father.
Thank You for Your special gift
To just me, my honey, Mick
Wow, Lord, You “did good”.
Thank you for the wonderful character traits
And gentleness I am seeing in him
As we work with my folks.
This piece was written several years back there when my folks were still with us. As they aged, their lives were complex and needed greater care but we still had them living close by. Now they’re with the Lord, both of them with no more sickness, tears or crying. Sometimes I envy them.

Charming, warm, truthful and touching, Marijo all the way. ThanksHeidi - I wish we could meet (maybe here in the mountain meadow and look at all these wild flowers "the planting of the Lord"! and sit with a cuppa (hot tea or coffee or???) and just talk!My people are after me to get my nose away from the computer now and then. Funny how time changes things. Meeting would be fun. There's you and Fran, Hilda and Dianne and Christofer and so many Warpies that would be fun to meet. I'd even pry myself away, with pleasure. But, as writers, we can share thoughts, beliefs and ideas, as we do. Thank you, Bruce, for your platform!I think Christofer is from Colorado too.... I have wanted to meet Teresa and we've talked on the phone and I did meet Lorrie (SW and My Pet Tales) when she visited in Colorado Springs and Verna when she and her hubby traveled back to Iowa from AZ - anything is possible! That is so cool. I have that with a couple of people on FB too. I love it. People are incredibly wonderful. We'll get to chat too sometime.
