His Arms Wrapped Around Me

This is a poem I wrote before but it comes to me in great clarity this week with my first visit to the oncologist coming up tomorrow. I am finding it strange how my own writing could have been almost prophetic to my life at times and am gaining great strength from re-reading some of my formerly written pieces as I walk out today. There is an incredible strength in knowing that the Lord Jesus Christ is right here walking this all out with me!
Oh, JESUS, You are my God!!
Mighty in Power, generous in grace
Unlimited in means
YOU are my God
Who stops all the "what ifs"
With a single declaration
I AM
I praise You in worshipful recognition
Help me to know
More and more
Who the great I AM is
And to relax, trust and rely
On the strength of YOUR arms
ALONE.
