What I Love about WryteStuff
Well, why not be the first one to tackle this topic. All my old family are there: my little brothers who sometimes play rough, my older brothers who share wisdom, my cute and sassy sisters of all ages. There are those who agree to disagree mostly without being disagreeable. We can actually talk to each other and learn, grow and know more after clicking than we did before.
When we end up going through a trauma of life, that WryteStuff family is THERE. Coming by to give us verbal hugs, prayers, and lift us up with their strong hands. Not many on WryteStuff are cut from the identical cloth that I am though a few come close. However, how boring would like be if we were all clones and carbon copies? Yet we can find something encouraging to say about another’s writing even if we don’t agree with their premise or conclusion. Maybe it is the way they use a particular word phrase to draw a picture for their reader or a colorful analogy. We don’t have to agree with another’s philosophy to be able to appreciate a well written piece. That’s another thing I like about this intriguing website.
This baby might barely have its umbilical cord cut but I think it is already up and running.
Am I always smiling when I click into WryteStuff and read comments, articles, questions, answers or postings. Nope. But I am definitely always learning and being challenged as we try daily to share with others. We get to share our hopes, fears, and passions. At times we have a good soap box on which to spout off. Sometimes we really disagree but hopefully can have courteous dialogue and share our views without assinating another’s character. I think the healthy challenge here is to discourse sticking to the facts and issues rather that calling another writer names. I also think that “we’ve come a long way, baby” in the several years I have been part of this family. That’s encouraging.
Let’s keep up the good writing. Keep challenging each other and get that dialog going as we walk across a new page which should attract many new readers and writers. That new page in our book of writing life is called WryteStuff, let’s turn it together!

That made made me laugh out loud, Marijo! Thanks.I only had one sibling - my sister Colette and she definitely fit the description! You two do an excellent job of taking this family with all its unique and diversified parts and giving us something to bond over!!
Hope I'm one of your cute and sassy sisters? I've got this smile on my face. Fine way to put it for sure. That's another thing that's so great here. Lets get to work on Wrytestuff!Right up there at the top of the list Lady - we Boomers need to stick together, eh? Your "pets" are just a bit bigger than mine - man, imagine a "house horse"!I'm here anytime when I've got the time. And you bet!
Great one to begin with WryteStuff, Marijo. High 5 to you.
May things go on fine with everyone particularly you, our dear cute sassy sister. Thanks so much my sister from over the pond! And look at the ad on this one.... breast cancer prevention! I wonder if someone at WS got to pick that ad or if this was coincidence?
I never cut it as a Brownie when I was little, but I like belonging to this troop. Searchwarp or WryteStuff, it''s still the place to be. Nice one Marijo.I quit Girl Scouts when they were having a girl date boy party in 7th grade - I was a late bloomer and the thought of that event struck fear into my heart!
